Please can someone give me some ideas as to what to do to my new winter project please.
Its a F plate Nova 1.2 Diamond with a genuine 88k on the clock.
Has no MOT or tax but im using the trade plates to run around with when i use it on the road.
Ive got my other car for work, so the nova is going to be a complete restoration project.
Anyone got any ideas as to what i should do first, and what to check etc?
Thanks.

Do you live in the west midlands (I live J10 M6) I have excellent later style GSi brakes (suppost b better then the early style) with sub 1000mile stock pads n discs for sale, make me an offer. I also have Excellent quality GSi shocks n springs.
You can have the shocks n springs for ?40, offer me more if you want, but no less. postage is out of the question

Ive got a Astra GTE brake conversion in front of me as it goes, just a matter of putting it on.
I might also be sticking a 1.4SR engine into it and tuning that.
For the moment im going to keep the 1.2 engine in it as the owners says its had lots done to it inside....?!?!?!?
He has got a rolling road readout apparently of it getting 60bhp.
Going to take the head off and polish all that this afternoon, clean it all out, wax it all (car not engine) and then go from there.
And ive got the stereo already and waiting to go in, kenwood 4x45w head unit, sony 120watt front speakers and infinity 300watt 6x9s to go on the rear shelf and a 12" kenwood 600watt sub when i get an amp to power it.

The 1.2 engine is 45bhp standard....and its now got 60bhp, although after driving it home, it seems standard enough to me!!! X-(
