E16SE into a 1.2 corsa, easy?

Is the corsa much like the nova in that the engines are interchangeable?

Now that I'm progressing with my XE my mate wants to put my GSI engine in his corsa, is it a straight forward swap?

Obviously the petrol tank would need changing, loom etc, anything else?

Doesnt the corsa 1.2 run on carbs?
If that's the case then wouldnt you need to change the fuel tank to get the efi working?

My main concern is would it fit and is it straight forward?

yes i did one.... easy... little bit of wiring and change pump for an mpi one

1.2 corsa doesn't run on carbs m8. in fact none of the corsa b's run on carb's.

is his a 16v or an 8v?

fitted one to my brothers 1.4i corsa, it was a straight swap. All you need to do is use the corsa mounts an shafts. The fuel lines stay the same and you can levae the tank. It doesnt matter if its a carb tank or injection one, you can still use it.
