I foubd an Astra Si for breaking in my local Free Ads Paper. As I've my engineers report next week i'm pushed for time and cant get any one to wire it up in time. What carb can i bolt on to get it going. It may need to be a permanent job as well. Will the good old 32/34's work? Twin 40's are too rare to find in time an d kinda out of my budget anyway.

32/34, 1.3 inlet, and 1.3 head would alright. You'd need a fuel regulator to bring the fuel pressure down.

that would work but it means not getting the extra power from using the mpi head.

So, if i keep the MFi head, what carb do i use, and how difficult is it to convert?

the only manifold im aware of for the round ported mpi heads are the twin40's manifolds

there is only about 6 wires to connect for the original management so why not just wire it up?
