help drive shafts

Looking for some advice...

If I drop a GTE.GSi engine into me 1.2 merit I know I need to change shafts but do I need to doi anything to front wheels (hubs wise)?

i don't think you even have to change the shafts over. i think it depends what box u use.

Its advisable to change the shafts.

Also if doing lots of work like you are Ade i would get some GTE hubs and fit new bearings etc, a lot easier at this stage than 6 months later.

a mate of mine was running 1.2 shafts on his 1.6 16v on tbs for ages, think he even used them at pod once and had no probs, if you are just using the car for the road then save cash and use the 1.2 ones on there, BUT CANGE THE BRAKES!!!!!!!!!!
