Whats the next thing I shoulf do to my engine to improve performance?

I already have weber 32/34, inlet manifold 1.3 cam from 1.4SR, will get 4-1 exhaust manifold bit later.

depends what your budget is, if you after big power gains then you could go for twin carbs, head work, an after market cam. These wont come cheap though.

can buy 40's for SR's from ?150.

Whats the power gains from boring out and polishing head? What do you guys think if I get the valves bored out an replaced by the bigger once?

Does anyone know what valves can I use? Heared someone mentioning using astra 16V valves. :?:

use 1.6 8v ones theres enough on the standard seats to have them machined out big enough

as i see from your profile you have a 1.2

is there any reasons why you cant do a coversion e.g 1.3 or 1.4 or do you need the 1.2 for insurance

Well that one of the reasones but was just wondering how much can you tune 1.2? I guest pure interest as well! :)

P.S.

I am waiting for C20LET convertion at some stage! :wink: Probably after university.

id imagine bout 15-20bhp over standard if ur lucky? b4 it goes bang!

my 1.3 block is over 100bhp, so 100cc less capacity (1.2 block) is only going to be 5-10bhp less than that i'm guessing.
