He demonstrated this to me at the weekend by stopping on a hill, he continued to put the handbrake on and take it out of gear. You could always use the which test like in the old days

To find out if some one was a witch they would tie them to a chair and tie heavy objects to it and lower it in to a lake / river if after a certian time if the person was still alive they were a witch and would be burned
but if they were dead they were not a witch and there name would be cleared

so if this was the 1700s Mark you would be fucked !

if the hill on the road wa on contained iron ore content it is very possible to roll uphill if the gradient isnt too steep. The magnetic pull from the iron will move the car.
