Right I want my dash, heater switches etc to light up blue, similar to modern VW's. I'm gonna try painting the bulbs first, any special kind of paint to use or what, also, how do i take the knobs off the heater and head light switches to paint inside them so the wee Icons light up blue as well? Or has anyone got a simplier solution to getting the dash to light up blue?

Yeah, plazma dials would be cool, but not at the price including delivery over here. For examole. Nova rear blanking plate from Super Novas, ?45. Total cost including postage over here, ?70!! I'm trying to keep it cheap as possible!

I've stripped my spare dash and have started colouring all the bulbs red with a marker, they should catch the light better than blue. I'll let you all know how it goes. Cheers dudes.

Buy some LEDs, the high light output ones.

Loads of electrical component websites out there, just remember to get the 12V ones and some diodes to prevent you breaking them and solder them up into the original bulb holders.
