i have just been in contact with Just Novas asking them about prices of buying and fitting a webber 32/34. they have told me that i will "also need 1.4 sr inlet manifold" now i dont doubt them as they do that thing for a living, but on here people have told me that it is the 1.3 that is required. my car is a mk1 1.2.

anyone elaborate??

if your fitting it to anything other than a 1.4 carb/spi then you need the 1.3 inlet manifold otherwise you will be restricting the airflow with the small square ports

thats what i thought as the ports on the 1.4 and a different size arn't they (square is it). but that is what they put into their e-mail.
i'll have to have a word with them, i told them that it was the 1.2 mk1 that i had got :?

1.3 manifold from a scrappy maybe a tenner.

i'm selling my 32/34 + manifold.

it'll fit a 1.2 or a 1.3.
