What sort of time would I need to get there if I decide to go?and the cost?
I should hopefully get my car back from CPP tomorrow with it's new Autronics management, brakes, airfilter and the all important bit, Antilag :)
So I'd like to take it for some quarter mile runs, as I dont know what sort of time to be expecting from it.
I'm heading down to my mums on the south coast on Friday afternoon, but if I can manage to get to santa pod in time on sunday, then I'd love to go.
Get there for 9ish Jk its ?10 to get in and ?8 to run.. or vice versa.
Cheeky munkeh, you didnt say you were getting all that done!

I only decided about a week and a half ago, so I booked it in and dropped it off on Wednesday.

It was a quiet still day and i couldnt hear anything running like i normally can? Did they open and run at all - be suprised if they passed up the chance to make some money :?: :o
I was up there today, was fairly busy got a fair few runs in.

Yea did 7 runs or so yesterday.
Did a 13.827 bit dissapointed but not bad seem as not done dragg strip for a few years. Straight cut box great for a track but was haveing to go for 5th gear which was costing me a bit.
Yesterday was last drive, car now tucked up for winter!!!

Not bad. weird tho having to hit 5th with the straight cut box.
I only have to hit 4th and im not on the limiter at the line!
I run to the limiter which is 8k. Altho 1st gear i had to short change on.
Hoping when ive got the launch control sorted this may change.
What cluster is it? the f20 sccr? And wheres your limiter/change point at?
Any idea of what gearing ratios you have? hmmm.
I belive quaife no longer produce the f16 sccr altho unsure as ive not checked there catalogue recently.
Good time tho. I hope to be hitting 13.6 at some point. and with a few more changes perhaps delving to the low 13s. we shall see next year.
What did brett run?

I never made it there, time wasn't on my side this weekend, I didn't pick my car up on Friday, I got it on Saturday and then my dads website had some issues, so I had to sort those out and it all meant I was late down to my mums, so there was no way I was getting up on Sunday morning.

Brett didnt go.
I was billy no mates all on me own!!
I use F20 straight cut synchro with 4.2 final drive. I was changeing at about 7.5-8000 i think, wasn't watching shift lights as i should just revvin the bollox of it!!
Quite alot of interest in the car though which was good.
My X16XE was running terrible times, its not running right due to a dodgie coolant temp sensor causing it to run on choke all the time :(
Best I managed was 17.1

Like the pics of your car mate! Very smart.
What sort of times was the XE'd Egg running?
Neil
15.5 was its fastest on sunday, but it has done a 15.01 before at the pod.
Its just been re-built so might still be a bit tight.
