I am not sure which 1 of these r the problem, basically two weeks ago, I was told that I needed a new battery as it wouldn't hold a charge any more, replaced that with a new 1, how ever then found out that this new battery started to drain, as well.
So I found out that the problem was actually that my Alternator was knackered, so I then replaced that with a brand new 1, and got my car up and running.

Buy I have recently noticed that on very cold days the battery voltage on my digi dash reads 12v, and every thing seems slighly dimmer, and on warmer days it goes much higher, and everything is much brighter.

Could this mean, my new battery was damged when it got completly drained by my old alternator, as it does hold a charge however just a weak 1, coz reving the car up when its cold doesnt increase the voltage either, but only on hotter days it goes past 12v, when higher revs, which i like to see.

Does any 1 know

The alternator should be charging the battery at around 14.4V, and the battery/alternator system is always worse when its cold. It don't work as well.
Put a multimeter across the battery and see what it comes out with.
