although its only a base model it still looks the nuts with these wheels on
I think they look nice, but wouldnt be any good on a fast road / track as the brakes would get rather hot lol

yeh most are off golfs, polo's etc so are et25!!
will have to go down the road that the euro lot go, flared arches
Yup I tried to fit Ronals, was no way they would fit without major arch mods plus it would handle like a piece of shit with that offset.
After having 18's on the blue one I really didn't wanna start playing with the arches too much, they had already been rolled flat and pulled out and they still didn't fit.
They are lovely wheels though, the dub boys have had them for decades. The original Ronal Turbos will fetch ?800+ easily second hand.
ive seen them one a few golfs round here they look so good

surely the lower the offset, the better handling, due to the increased track??
im running ET35 16's(not lowered yet) and it handles good
im trying to convince my mate, who works in an engineering bit, to machine them down with a lathe
Increased track yes but you'll also increase tramlining which is a pain in the arse.
When your machinging down the offset of a wheel you can only do a few mm as the strength of the wheel will be compromised.. I investigated into that too.. lol
I ended up going for Compomotive TH's which were a bit of a git anyway, et49 and 7j wide.. I had to use spacers on the front as it hit the coilover body.

i dont seem to get too much tramlining but it aint lowered so the camber is spot on
how much a set of those Compomotive TH's cost??
did u chrome them?
You can't buy them anymore, well you can but only in 14's I believe, they've been powder coated anthracite and then fine diamond turned.
I swear this topic comes up every few months.. lol

just dont look right
there an old skool look
deep dish wheels dont look right on a nova as novas have square arches, a 5 door would look good with them on tho, otherwise leave it to the golf and fiesta boys
