a student must fill in a P38s which entitles you to not pay tax until you exceed the given weeks limit.

and if you earn over ?4350 then you pay tax like the rest of us

when i worked on a farm during the holidays id always wind up paying tax nead the end as i would ahve earnt enough in 12 weeks to put me over the limit for the first week of september lol

so yes students pay tax if you do legit work
