well, the 1 i got from just novas was fucked, the bloke replaced the water pump, then set the timing. i got it home, fitted it. tried to start, wouldnt, not much compression, checked timing, he had set it off the pulley key mark, not the timing mark. so cam was retardeed by like 4-5 teeth. got it going in the end but sounds like a bad of nails.
I spoke to him and he's said sorry and will try to get me a replacement by wednesday. If he cant and u are prepared to sell me your engine soon i will ask if a refund is possible. As long as your GSi engine is ok!
