View Full Version : No plate in Bumper. DIY kit?
Is there a kit fot fittin a Number plate i nto the rear bumper of my Nova, its a mk2. I dont want to screw it directly onto the bumper.
use double sided foam tape or velcrow (not sure on spelling)

i made my own recess from a front bumper recess on a mk2 bumper but i gave up when i got the gte. its not that hard to do yourself

make your own, its not that hard...
all i did was place the number plate on the bumper at the bottom where i wanted it, got it centered. i then drew around it, and cut both sides and the top line but not the bottom. then i bent the cut out behind the carrier bar. the all you gotta do is fibreglass the sides and smooth in all in

its not my motor, just givin you an idea of what my no. plate recess looks like - wish it was mine though lol

it'll suck hard as its a turbo, dunno about the chips though :lol: :lol:
HE HE. Job done. Took ten mins to cut. all i've to do now is fibreglass it and thats me!! Dead simple :wink:
