1.4SR Camshaft In To 1.2

I need help please!

1. Does 1.4Sr Camshaft has got the highest lift of all Nova shafts?
2. Will it cause problems i.e piston slaping?
3. Will any 1.4SR cam fit 1.2 or not?

I have delco-remy type ignition system (coil - small black box, balck dizzy).

Any help will be much appreciated!

im not sure on a 1.4sr cam but one from a 1.3sr is one im fairly sure will go in. The 1.2/1.3 is fairly similar engine but after that they all seem to have fairly significant changes/ non interchangeable parts.

Yeah my mate has a 1.4 bottom end, 1.2 head and the carriers are all the same, with a 1.4 cam.

Runs like a bag of s**t but that is because he running the crap 1.4 restrictive manifold with lovely open 1.2 ports, he won't beleive me though, says it's timing, t**t.
