Not been re-sprayed its 14 years old that paint lol its been mopped tho and i do polish it quite abit :D

Thanks for the comments, cant wait to get it finnished now!

:o Damn you have been busy adam, you paint job looks like mine now and i wont tell you how much that cost! Amazing for original paint.

Its really come along way since we first had it in the garage, its a real credit to you and fair play for learning a few few things along the way. Hes not afraid to get his hands dirty! :wink:

Keep it up ad and i look forward to seeing it at a track soon mate, oh and you have to take me out in it.

I really want to get a full cage in mine mate, would love to see some more pics of it being fitted if you got them mate, as a mate of mine has agreed to help me make my owne custome cage for my car,and im unsure on mounting points for it,cheers.

Thats not me behind the cage lol Thats a friend of mine called Martin - he's also got a nova and its VERY quick lol He scared the s**t out of me and im a bit of a nutter in a car lol

Right the cage...... Well its a Safety Devices FULL (but no door bars) FIA Steel Cage. Dead simple to fit if you can use a welder (unlike me :roll: )

Cost is around ?340 - ?370 - Depends if you have carrage (inc VAT)

Just put it in the car, removing sun visors and hand grip things on the roof. Mark up all the holes to drill and drill away. Then where it mounts behind the seats (front) you have to weld in a mount. Bolt it all up REAL tight and jobs finnished!

Scott i would buy a cage as homemade cages can be lethal in the event of a crash.
