its called an FK 3 piece strut-brace set. i have it. ?60 i think.

I only put the font strut brace on, havn't bothered with back and i don't even know where the 3rd goes. lol.

Tell me if u want a pic.

I got it from an ad in TV mag.

FK tuning/styling i think.

i hpoe the rear brace dosent bolt onto the shock tops as thats just pointless. it need to be weld/bolt in to the sides of the arch.

so in that pic supernova, i got the same brace (the shortest one).
Where the hell does that actually go?!

I have no idea, i know its under neath somewhere. Are there actual bolts already on the car that it connects to? Engine Mountings?

Front upper- under bonnet
Lower front - in between lower suspension arms under car
Rear - inside car between the two struts

the beam acts as the lower one lol


unless you count x bracing the chassis rails.


anyway just make one, if i can make one then im sure you can make a million of them in the same time :p

where would you intend on mounting a rear lower strut brace then? unless there is absolutely nothing there and/or its independant rear sus then there is little/no point


also most rear upper braces bolt to the shock tops, which is therefore rubber mounted :roll:

ive never heard of these but that seem nice and cheap!! let us know what they are like to deal with ste and what kinda quality there stuff is

HAHA that be PVD then!!!

The front one needs a bit of forcing to get on, didn't try fitting the front lower one as i couldnt get the wishbone bolts undone, rear needs modding to fit on but doesnt do up when on anyway as you cant hold the shock to do the nut up (cos its in a big recess in the strut brace). But i didn't pay for mine anyway :D

ive used trackstore several times now. a little tricky to get them on the phone, but a good service none the less, and most stuff was good value. i got all the stuff to make my brake lines_master cylinders for aobut ?138 (including a few other bits n bobs.
