new steering wheel !

hi guys ive just fitted a new steering wheel to my nova (took fucking hours) and when i indicate it doesnt cancell off when i straighten the wheel ! is this fixable or so i just have to live with it ?

mines the same mate, it sometimes cancels itself though...

I think its to do with the position of a little plastic tab inside the steering wheel boss that would click the indicators off when the wheel is turned, but i just put up with it and have got into the habit of flicking them off myself..

You could try taking the wheel back off and adjusting the position of this tab.

you might of snapped the tab which cancels the indicators. I did this and have to cancel them manually now.
