Just bid for some standard tigra alloys with 185 55 15 tyres. Will these go on a Mk1 5-door no probs, or are wheel spacers/arch grinding necessary.

Suspension is standard.

i fink tigra alloys go on no probs, but dont take my word tho.

They will be no probs mate- in fact you will probably want bigger what with it being a 5-door...

When i got my 15's they fitted and left tonnes of arch clearance - check out the pics in my feature - that is lowered 40mm on 15's - i could have got on 17's easily :D

yep -40mm sucks big floppy donky dcik.

i did it on mine at first and was the biggest waste of money and time !

and yes, they will fit absolutly fine with no scrubbing !
