Hi peeps, Got a disc braked rear beam to go on my nova, how hard is it to change the two beams over?? How long shud this take???

The beam itself should only take a few mins, two large bolts on either side as far as I know, then its a matter of hooking up your lines, hand brake cables (please let me know what kind you're using) and bleeding them! Thats it!

from what i can remember last time i removed one was in about 1999!

undo rear suspension
undo brake lines (think at rear flex hoses or at drum)
remove handbrake cable
undo bolts that hold rear beam to chassis
drop off car watch out it's heavy!

for the hb cable use a nova long cable.... and cav mk3 short cable.... and some internaly and externaly threaded bar

Be careful when you undo the shocker bolts as it will swing down an twat you in the face if you forget. Also i'd unto the brake lines first other wise it will be hanging on them them
