Does the Gsi dash fit straight into the mk1's without rerouting the heater??

As my heater currently is in the middle of my dash, whereas the gsi ones are alot higher up.

Help ppl!!!!

think you need the heater matrix, never converted form a mk1 dash to mk2,
i've removed both types of dashed but never swaped then

Gotcha! Well looks like I'll be taking a trip down to the breakers soon enough!

Can anyone confirm that that is all i need to do??

you dont need to change the heater matrix

just the bottom cover of it so the the mk2 heater cables can fit to it

make sure you get all the pipes from the dash for the heaters so that they all work and all the switches - be carefull with the headlight switch as they are a bastard :D

and make sure you do the hazzard light mod when your fitting it :D
