View Full Version : Wiring problem
A friend of mine ercently reshelled a GSi into a 1.0 shell. The car is running fine but he's got a small problem. He has a blue wire under the bonnet behind the engine that goes nowhere. Also some of his gauges on the dash aren't working.

it could be the temperature sensor wire, just done a similar thing on my car and thats what the blue was for.
Where should it connect to? Both ends if possible.
One end should already be in the loom at the dash end and the other needs to have a female spade connector on and it goes under the manifold on the little metal block with waterpipe to heatermatrix and from pump, just under to the right of inlet.
Best way is to get a haynes and check against wiring diagrams.
You swapped the loom too?
As I said its not my car. I'm just relaying the message. I'll pass it on to him. I'll give him my copy of the haynes manual aswell. Thanks.
