How old are you? You'll be lucky to get insured for "cheap" on a 2.0L under 18ish years old, and even then, if you do, most companies will say "We dont do engine conversions". Adrian Flux is probably the best place (i think). But pick up a yellow pages/Total Vaux mag and ring round.

(am savin all the money while am don this)

lol, good luck! even changing a wing mirror to, for example an M3, could put the premium up about ?50.

Btw, FYI, if you want to "rag the car about modded", then I suggest you get another car, and dont go anywhere near a nova. And like already said, dont come back to this site and say "I crashed it!" or "the engines doing this!", cause we wont listen.

Riggy, lol, you never know what to believe with all the chavvy idiots about on the site now!

If you keep the car standard(ish) then try LV, i get quotes around ?1100 for a 1.2 carb, that will go down to about ?900 in a few weeks. 18th birthday :D
My astra is around ?1300, its gonna be getting change for summit like an SR or SRI after xmas 8)
