Astra gte 16v digi dash

Just wondered as i curently have an 8v digi dash on my car, which is in damaged condition( Sreen cracked), how ever it is workin fine.

However I will be getting a good condition 1 next week, but have been told its from a 16v, and not an 8v, I know these r slightly different, but does that mean i will still get correct speed readings with the 16v dash installed on my 1.2 Nova, as i do wit the 8v digi dash.

As I will also be getting the speed tranducer off a 16v as well.

think u have to flick sum switch to change from 8v to 16v as it creates another pulse or sum shit

There is a switch and I'm not sure what it really does, if you are getting the 16v transducer aswell then I wouldn't worry as it should all work, but bear that switch in mind if it don't. All other plugs IIRC are the same.
