steering wheel boss

rite i have got me self a mountney steering boss, fitted itto the wheel fine no problems there the then put it in me car and did the central nut up tight to the where the splines are which is wot you should do!,, but my wheels sit reall losely on the spilne and so you can turn the wheel slightlyand the it will meet up with the splines and start turning the column,,


anyways i have been told there are two that you can buy and when i bought it the bloke said it was the mk2 one, ie.. the one for me car could i have the wrong one or do others of you have the same things wrong with yours
