having recently started a new job (alarm fitter) we get to drive 4 or five a day of these cars and they are pretty quick what i would like to find out is a comparison as they seem to be about the same size as the nova as i drive a 1.4 nova the speed difference is massive as you would expect just looking for bhp figures on these and i am assuming those who have 2litre novas will know the difference

yep we kill em on drag strips, frequently beat the ones at york, not raced any on road.

has anyone wondered why the new shape corsa isnt available in Gsi form yet.........

.......well i know what they are considering.... put it this way, the clio will be left for dust.

err new shape corsa 1.8 16v... it won't be 172bhp+

lol my engine will be fixed soon
my car will be back on the road before ians and duckos 1.6 16v :p

unless they fit the 2.2 or 2.0 turbo astra coupe engines the corsa c gsi won't be that quick
it will proablably be a 1.8 16v with a bit more power than the sri
or maybe a 1.8i 16v turbo :-/

I went against a 2.0 clio at Santa Pod and he did a 15.9, and I got a 15.7, don't sound alot but I was miles in front!!!

but then again boys they ahevn't done an astra GSI in the new shape yet have they!! fair enuf tho...they've got a 2l turbo!!!

they do a corsa gsi in opel badging... it's a rebadged sri!!
