My brake lights do not see to come on any more, ON MY 1.2 mk1 Nova, when i push the brake pedal,

Does any 1 know what this could be, as when i switch on my side/Headlights, the tail lights come on, however nothing happens when the brake pedal is pressed,(surely they should go brighter, i have already replaced the bulbs, and no change.

Is there a fuse or something, coz it aint good, as i have got my MOT due in few weeks time.

Thanks

You tried the switch that switches the live to the brake lights.
I think it gets operated when you press the brake pedal, i think its a pin switch. Have a look above the brake pedal

Try that as well, was on phone when replied.

but the fuse is a red 20amp one, forgotten whereabouts it is in the fusebox

however if it's the fuse you may find that your rear indicators don't work !

its the switch tahts a bit iffy. under the dash where the brake pedal sits tehre is a white switch.

wiggle it and your lights will work. or get a new one
