Just been lookin around for tuning info and found this on mig. It refurs to a 1.4 8v used in nova and corsa sri. Was wonderin if it would work as it mostly seems very doubtfull as the 2l different is port spacing i thought.


fit a nova gte 4-2-1 exhaust manifold
Fit a astra 2.0 8v inlet manifold and use 1.8 injectors on the 2.0 fuel rail.
Block the idle valve holes in the inlet and fit a 1.6 8v throttle body off a mk3 astra

Fit new leads, plugs and fit a 1.7 diesel 8v camshaft and use a vernier pulley

turn the ron plug from 95 upside down to 98..use high octane fuel

If you flip the octane plug to 98 make sure you use 98 fuel, as if you use 95 with the plug at 98 it will start pinking and slowly damage your engine.

Diesels are totally different engines from Vauxhall 8vs I thought and AFAIK the RON plug reads 93 and 95, and yes 2.0 8v engines are longer blocks so logically would have a wider port spacing.

I smell a strong whiff of Bullshit :roll:
