it wont really make much of a difference you your car TBH. Behind the grill would be a good place as the air will then be pushed in while you are moving

Not knowing exactly what the 1.2i engine looks like, I would say do what I did with my GSi, mesh the grill and then run a tube from behind the front grill to the induction kit.

Cambridge, for someone that is building a 1.2 and is also an administrator, I would have thought you would offer help rather than adding a completely pointless comment.

The 1.2 induction "kit" is just like a bolt on, so a longer piece of tubing is required. Just make sure it doesn't fall onto the alternator belt or throttle cable

oh be nice.

as winter is on its merry way id advise against running a deidcated cold air feed, as the air will be cold enough as it stands.

then in the summer fit one.

so a longer piece of tubing is required.

halford do really long tubing, that would be ideal for a cold air feed,

its about a fiver, bit cheaper than paying 20 odd quid for a green/pipercross or what ever one

If you aren't worried about looks under the bonnet then get some tumble dryer hose, its wide flexible and really really cheap, like free from the town dump.

Agree with camb though, not worth it for winter.
