Front Speakers

Guys I could really do with a bit of advice!
Is there are a way of replacing front speakers in MK1 front panel without taking the whole thing off?

Yes there is mate - for the passenger side - remove your glovebox and reach up inside and release it, and for the drivers side push the fusebox up and out of the way and reach up and release it...

Do you know by any chance what diameter are they? Want to replace them with better once! :)

They're 4 inches mate,

I recently removed my orginal ones as they had never been changed!

the drivers side is near impossible to remove though even when you move the fuse box!

Drivers side right fcuk though! Its not the fuse box gets in the way its heater pipe... But hey its done now! Got some nice Alpine's there now! 8)
