Ok guys who thinks i should De-rust and respray this nova??

i bought it and it has slight rust around the arches and needs the front vents re-bonded it can do with a respray job to bring it back

im not to sure of the colour but i will be doing this soon. I just bought a novadose front bumper for it so its looking better let me know your truthfull opinions people thanks. :roll:

Get another shell. there cheap enough.
Start again.

Keep it plain and simple. dans(admin) grey nova is a perfect example of summat that can be done to budget. Nowt fancy yet suprisingly quick!

yep get a new shell and start again, sell yours to someone who has the equiptment to repare it tho, DO NOT SCRAP IT as there are not enough shells as it is, ive seen shells much worse than that repared and painted for less than a grand

Hard to say without seeing it in the flesh, if the doors are decent and the boot floor and under bonnet are good id put some arches on it, its not that bad a job to do and if your willing to prepare the car for painting this will keep the cost down. I put some back arches in a gte I had, I had no experience and managed ok, have a crack at it mate, once you get going you will be hooked.

Is that a GSi bumper i see on the front of it ?

It's not too bad, only a slight bit of rust, i'd say repair it.

if its as bad as that last pic then its still only a sill to replace, depends on how much you want to spend really

repair it if you can be bothered. My arches are a lot worse than that, and I'm in the process of repairing them. (yep, im an amateur)

thank guys for the support im deffidutly going to go for a de-rust (rinc) and rpair yous r great ill update pics when this is done i hope the guys who says stick with it r happy with the job i get done.

but i know some good welders and sprayers ill do a good job thanks people for supprt great pics mines is bad but its fixable ill put up pic's sorry for not replying as fast as iv been on the drink ;)

i need to thank the guy for them pics as they have helped so much as mines r no as bad but it shows me how far it can go great buddy for the support ill try my best ill spend ?600 to repair it.

thing is i spent ?800 buying the car from a guy who its project was 3 weeks ago. but i think hes left it to late its fixable

im only going to be paying bout a grand for, x2 new front wings, x2 new rear wings, x2 new sills, and x4 inner arches, new steering rack, new steering column, s/steel brake lines and having it all fitted and sprayed as o speak!!
