ok cool, cheers for the reply, Is it worth paying the extra in your opinion? Is it going to give me better bhp over something like say the MUCH cheaper ashley system.

well with this exhaust system on a 1600 16v, running an sbd 164 throttle body kit arp rod bolts and a standard engine and gearbox apart from that, declan ran a 14.79 1/4 mile!

on the flip side my ashley system only cost 100-150, lasted just over 3 yrs till the baffles gave up, and has given respectable gains. Is all the extra money worth a single bhp or whatever lol.

The power difference wont be 'noticeable' on the road and the difference wont exactly be ground breaking between spending stupid amounts of money and spending a qtr of the cost imo.

very true dan, i just like shiny expensive stuff that i can get cheap lol. Im not sure if anyone makes a comparable 2.25 system for the 1600 16v inc manifold though.

Try www.tubetorque.co.uk

I had one of there systems on my Saxo (I appologise), it sounded really good, its hand made like the Powerflow systems and was good quality.

They can pretty much make any type of system you need, including the manifold.

The full system cost around ?250 that included the Cat replacement pipe.
