which carb fits?

Hi i have a 1.6 GTE engine but dont want to run with the injection, i have a standard 1.6 carb but its the one with the square ports and the GTE head has circular ports and dont match up.
So i was wondering if there is another standard carb with the circular ports that fit on the GTE head? does the 1.4 fit?

the 1400 are the square ports. As far as i know there are no carb manifolds with the injection shaped ports. Anyhow would you not be losing alot of power with a standard twin choke carb? If you want it carb fuelled best going for the 40's

if you want to run carb's on a GTE/GSi then the only way is t40's really.

that'll give you around 10bhp more aswell.
