1400 Gearbox

Found out today the gearbox on Chelles (Nova~Lolly's) 1400SR is definately on its way out.
I was wondering if one of an astra mk3 will fit or will i come across driveshaft problems??
Her nova is a G reg 1.4SR

Shafts and joints are the same but the astra box is a different ratio!
