Anyone know insurance that do special young driver policies?

A mate told me summit about LV doing a 6month policy then they give you 1 year ncb, which is cheaper for the next year and the initial payment is less as its only for 6months.
Anyone know any decent places for this type of thing.

yeah mate im with norwich union direct and i on a rapid claims policy which means that after 9 months paying high insurance u get 1 yrs no claims bonus which in the long run proves cheaper.
i am paying ?88.00 for my 1.4sr but when i do pass pluss it will only be about ?45-50. pretty good i rekon although u have to renew it after 9 months u still get ur one yrs no claims so its alot cheaper next year if u no what i mean!

Have you tried the advertisers at the back of max power, the mag is aimed at younger people so they insurance advertisers cater for them, you might have to hunt between the p0rn and the 0898 adverts though :D

bear in mind the fast years ncb that some companies offer isn't great in the long run, as if u want to change ins. companies then other companies are unlikely to recognise this "year"
I change my ins. co every year for the cheapest deal, seems a bit of a con to get you to stay with 2 ins. company to me

oh I was first insured with Wilsure (back of max power) ?1050 on a 1.3 SR TPFT aged 17 etc.
