Thinking of changing the origional standard injection system on my XE for Twin 45s

Wondering where to buy them from for a start, which is best kit to go for??
How easy are they to fit etc etc and how do i go about it!!

Any help at all is great ta!!!

you need a carb inlet manifold (so they are flat) SBD's is good, then some 45 carbs, and a dizzy from a 1.6 cav. So you could have about 175 BHP for as little as 400, then 500-600 set up correctly.

You will also need throttle linkages and a fuel pressure regulator. I think I have seen someone mention around ?800-?900 for new stuff fitted

the carbs alone are about 500 new, with all the rest its going to be near a grand like chris said

i thought XEs did'nt have dizzys? Was ignition not managed by the ecu? In which case you need an aftermark ignition managment system? Might be wrong though though it was the simlar ignition to the ecotecs.
