ive got a canon power shot A80, its fecking great but its now been replaced by a new one but im not sure what the model number is.

also the canon G... range is good.

nikons are pretty good too. and for ?300 you should be able to get a top notch camera/deal

look at digital depot (not sure of web address lol but im sure you can find it) they are local to me so i can happily say they are good

hey , listen to me n trust me.

My dad is a urban Designer and a big part of his work nowadays is using digital cameras everyday to take photo's of sites and clients houses e.t.c

From his expirience THE BEST camera on the market at the moment is

Canon IXUS 430 or 500

i have the 430 as he bought me it for my 18th, it was around ?300 i think. The 500 has no advantage apart from being 5 megapixels, but 4.3 megapixels is enough

It has a rechargeable battery so you don't use tons of AA's or those really expensive camera batteries, you can override all the automatic settins and change them like you would on a Proffessional old-school camera. It's simple to use, takes video's with good sound. You can basically video for as long as your card will take. a 128mb card is only about ?30, cheaper than most.

it's got a optical and digital zoom,

You get alot of software with it including a program that stiches wide wide panoramic photo's together that you take on the panorama setting. the camera takes a photo and shows you the edge of it so you can line it up reasonably well to the next photo you take.

An most importantly of all., the camera is 90% metal, so ALOT more durable that all the other cameras around as they are usually plastic parts.

lol RANT over, trsut me tho.

it's won alot of awards, but a camera shop guy will tell u best !

Don't get the camera that Cambridge has. It doesnt seem to work yet. I had a BBQ on 25th September and the photos haven't been developed digitally yet like. So the camera can't be much cop

 :P :P

lmao!

Anyway, i also recommend the Canon IXUS range. Preferably the 500.

Anyway, don't buy her a digital camera. She will only use it to take pics of herself (nudie most likely) to post on the internet when she tries to replace you, and also make sordid pron photoshoots with her new bf when you get dumped.

The best present is something that can only be used once, and that you can enjoy. I suggest edible underwear. lol

Or buy yourself a digital camera and use it to take naked pics of her.

I don't like the Nikon Coolpix.

Another one i HIGHLY rate is the Optio (Pentax) S4i. It is awesome. And around ?350, but may be able to get it for less.

What if those pics got in the wrong hands!? How do we know you're really on OUR (the Joos i mean) side? What other pictures have you been taking? Any of urination on iraqis? lol

I love soldiers. I think they're really brave and they have my respect. And look sexy in their uniforms.

Good work fella!

PS Nuke em. Every last one. lol
