i need to clean my engine bay cuz its filthy!! is there a cleaning solution for it or can i jus jet wash the fooker!!

i think you can get it steam cleaned professionaly... dont quote me on that tho :wink:

its annoying me cuz me mate says i can, but another says dont cuz of all the electrics!

i use gunk its a decreaser then polish it all up with autosold silicon and autoglym

get it steam cleaned, we do it all the time at work. never had a problem

were do they do steam cleaning?? dont think they would be to happy if i rolled in2 a dry cleaners!!

I got some degreaser and soaked the motor, then leave the car running and brick the throttle/choke on to about 2000rpm and get the jet washer in there, just don't clean the inside of the airbox at the same time lol.

Then take it up the road and give it hell to clear any water left anywhere, if it still runs pants when you get back give the dizzy cap some WD or similar to displace the water (providing you have a dizzy).
