Could the roof lining not be painted, it seems a pretty tough kind of material?

Yeah it can be painted with the same stuff you spray the spongey parts of the dash with, it more like a dye and it bends so won't crack. Folitec sell it in aersols and cost about 10 times more than its worth

Take the old one out carefully and get mother to make one in Black, I was going to do this but never got round to it before I broke the car lol.

Or pay out of your arse and get that stuff from aero????

Yeah, just tried spraying a spare one I had with black spray paint, doesn't work!! What do you call that die stuff and is it available anywhere in the North of Ireland, or down south?

Buy some material and make one, is easier than you thought. Black cloth backed vynil is the stuff.

I have a load but it would cost to send to Ireland more than material is worth lol.
