Any1 own a 1.2i?

i need to know of anybody with a nova 1.2i that has a performance exhaust system on. all manufacturers ive got in touch with say they only make em for normal 1.2's. any help wud be very gratefully received.

i think the system from the 1.2nova would fit, but you would need to put your *cat* in there

if your not changin the manifold aswell then any nova exhaust will fit be better goin for a 1.4 se/gte etc as it has a twin downpipe and you'll be able to ditch the cat as you don't need it.

if your goin for a manifold aswell you'll need a manifold from either a sri or gsi as it has the hole for the lamda sensor

the carb system will fit as the lambda sensor is in the manifold if i remember rightly

wel i found a nova 1300SR ashley system on a website that was dirt cheap, and sumbody told me the only problem was the lambda sensor. Wat is one of those anyways?? But i need to no for definite if the 1300SR system will fit if i have it from cat back? All i need to no is will it fit straight on just after my CAT?

i've got a 1.2i mate and i've got a ashley exhaust it was meant for the 1.3 but ashley "modified" it to fit the carbed 1.2. We had to use a corsa 1.2 downpipe as 1.2i isn't long enough.

The lambda sensor checks to see if the engine is running too rich or otherwise and adjusts the mixture as neccessary.. I think :?

system of your choice to match either sr or gsi downpipe

or just do what i did and weld the lamba into the downpipe :lol:
