umm why go fully comp on it??

its not an expensive car to repair if you dink it.

ive never gone FC, not even on the omega.

cambridge has a point, even if you just dent the door badly they will right it off due to the price of a new door and spraying and labour. tpft is the most you'll need so save yaself some pennies

burgo's rite. i only had my motor nicked for its wheels.

but they only damaged the locks and ignition but liverpool victoria tried to write her off!! only paid out ?570, alloys were ?800!!!

managed to buy the car back for ?30 tho??

its ?60 difference and you get audio cove with it !

thats why !

and we all know how easy it is to break into a nova even with an alarm

60 quid.. that's very cheap to upgrade tpft to fully comp

are you sure about that ?

also, Liverpool victoria are renound for not paying out for Mods. i.e they told me that as long as i keep photo's and receipts they wil pay out for all my mods if the car gets nicked, that's abuout ?1500. they just get themselves out of it when the time comes.

you will be VERY lucky if you had anything less than ?1200. Any mods will shove up the premium by a large amount.

Choices. Either take off non-necessary mods, OR pay the price. Even if you ring up every company in the yellow pages and back of mags, you'll prolly not get it any lower.

I am thinking off going with LV, would they increase the premium to add alloys, twin exhaust, ice system.
Do they have to know about bumpers that have been sprayed same colour as the car.

always best to tell them that way you'll know

Some good advice. Dont even bother with LV. They'll just try to con u like they did with me. They tried to write my car off with engine and gear box damaged. I've had it up on the ramps, nothing wrong with it!! They're just blagging bast**ds. I'd pay the extra just to go with someone with a good service and recommendations.

interesting this one as its not actually the insurance compnay that write it off if you get what i mean, where did you take it to get it estimated ?? as these are the people who come up with the figures not insurance companies so its not there fault. i know this as i work in a body shop and we had a fiesta in that we repaired but then wasn't running properly, the solution ?? say the carb is fucked!!! price up a new carb from ford comes to ?600 write off job done, just cos we couldnt be assed to fix it !!!!
