Ok im not addicted as everyone says, i only ever play with ?20 which on one or two occasions ive lost, but nothing to get me into debt, so by walking in with ?10 and coming out with ?180, its more then a week wages for me! and only took 4 hours to get :P

I bet overall he is not ahead. Casinos ALWAYS have the advantage (or they would have gone broke by now). You will never ultimately come out on top unless you REALLY know what you are doing and are good at it.

Neil - play the lottery, better odds and better prizes in the long run.

All you're doing is riding your luck, if you're being lucky more often than not you might as well have a punt on the lotto and see what happens, at least that way you only lose a couple of quid per week.

The only people that can take money from a casino regularly is someone who knows how to count cards - Or like Alex said they'd be out of business - the house ALWAYS wins in the long run.

Derren Brown (The magician off the TV) is a well known card counter and is banned from plenty of casinos simply because he pretty much knows where cards are!

Yes the house does always win, but im up at the moment, i just play roulette, nothing else.


Little dabble here and there wont hurt, and sod waiting a week for the lottery, i want to win or lose now!

It's all odds, and if you don't have any knowledge of what cards are where other than your own you lose in the long run; simple as.

pick up a copy of autotrader or the local motoring free ads and see how cheap a nova is nowadays.. you would have been more than halfway there with that lot...
