I've my car running on 16s et42 with 195 45s. My problem is my front wheels are sticking out under the wing. In the UK this wouldn't be a problem as the roads are pretty decent but in southern Ireland its hell as you can't go 5 ft without hitting a pot hole. I was thinking of getting the arches pulled out but to keep the same style. I HATE flaring (spelling) unless you're going to go completely Euro and I'm not. Better yet if someone knows how to pull in the front wheels about 10mm that could work aswell but I can't/don't want to do any major work to it mechanically. I've my rear arches rolled and they're perfect. I'm going to get my front ones rolled but they'll still be out too far.

its yours wheels im afraid mate. you need wheels with an offset of 49mm whcih wil make the wheel sit in further and further away from the outer arch.

would 42 offset make that much of a difference??

I had 16s with offset of ET35, I cut the front away and put 205 GTi arches on there, very badly but it was my first car and looked quite funny lol.

If you don't want to make the arch fit the wheel then buy some different wheels!

I guess I worte that a bit bad. I don't mind doin arch work I just don't want the euro style of flaring. I've decided to flare the whole arch. Moving the center out far enough to clear the wheel and then do the rest to come back in to the original place. Anyone got a picture of this done?
