View Full Version : GSI aloys with 2ltr 16v brakes ?
right i didnt know what forum to put in so i just put in here
is it possible to run GSI alloys and 2ltr 16v brakes? (callipers, disks etc)
or are the brakes too big to fit in the GSI alloys

yes you can but i think you have to use wheel spacers, we had a GSI down at justnovas that had 2lt brakes on GSI wheels an he had spacers
Instead of spacers, you can grind the calipers and put the wheel weights on the outside of your (shite) wheels!!
cheers phil what width spacers were they if you know. or what width shall i get?
i dont think there s**t though because i preffer small wheels!!

i think they are nice wheels if they have low profile tyres on them and in perfect condition. give it a go mate.

yeh there in perfect condition and im just waiting to buy some low profiles (55's the lowest i could find any 1 found lower?)
but i might not put them on this car i might just wait till i buy a new 1 (2.0 16v)

i would say 5mm spacers will be enough, thats what i have all the way round on mine, although i dont have small wheels, well not till sunday anyway :D

:o you could become a farmer and get the grinder out. or get some astra gte wheels paint them white and remove the centre caps !
