me parents bought the car when i turned 15 and over the past 3 years iv'e been modifying it with every bit of money iv'e got. most of the parts on the car are secondhand aswell which makes it cheaper. i reckon iv'e spent about ?1500

Just cos it looks a million dollars dont mean it cost a million! ie; chrome/dark chrome gear knob - ?5 (Lidls) - GSi Spoiler; ?20-Ebay; Rims/Tyres ?100 Ebay etc etc entire sound system cost less than ?200!

Got a set of claer front indicators on the weekend from halfords, shoulda been ?30 but were reduced to a tenner! Just right place right time mate!

ive spent shit all as cassie said u need to know where to buy your stuff i got my ice for 40 pounds the lot.
I only bourt the sub when i got my car the head unit was under the seat bonus and my m8 gave me the amp for free body kit 30 pounds new mk2 dash 10 pounds the most expencive thing was the batt 60 pounds
so all you need to know is where to buy the stuff and it wont cost all that much

Novas are one of those classic cars which addict you, they're so retro, can be made fast, great handling, cheap, very easy to work on, and so on. You get a love for cars like that, its nothing like crappy saxos, corsas, clios and so on, more along the lines of people liking mk2 escorts, corrola twincam GT, lotus sunbeams, if you know what i mean. Every single penny i have goes on the car, like alot of people here. I spent ?2800 in a year, have'nt paid insurance yet lol
