yeah mines standard its the family car so other than genuin work on it nothing gets touched

i will say this if you get it and the clutch goes or you have to have the gearbox out
its a nightmare to do

yes ive had more problems with the escort than the nova but the probs havent been that bad

make sure you have a loud sound system as all you will here is tappets, they have to be one of the worsest sound engines ever made

am sure me dad had his in at the ford garage because they were loudish on start up when cold

mine sounds like a type writer for the first few minutes but then i calms down, where as a ford just do it all the time. Not sure what shape they are really.
