As far as i know nova was every equipped with ABS (correct me if i'm wrong!)

My question is can you fit ABS to a Nova. My old nova was terrible for locking up under heavy breaking or in the wet every since i fitted 2lt 16v brakes.

cheers, tim

fit better, wider tyres to reduce the lock up chance

to fit abs you will need

Corsa/Tigra front hubs and outer CV joints
Front wheel speed senors

corsa/tigra rear drums and rear wheel speed sensors

all the wiring+loom

ABS pump (ecu is built in)
ABS master cylinder (two outlets as opposed to one)

and lots of time and effort to get it all working right as abs is a finicety bastid

i had 195/45's but they weren't the best tyres though. just wondering how much effort it would be and what the result would be like as it can't hurt to ABS

lots of effort and cost for not much gain. basically learn to cadence brake (thats manual ABS to those who dont understand)

and maybe dont brake so hard or late causing situations to lokc up
