it does look like the arches are abit rough, and it has had a respray as the paint is abit strange.
anyway mate are you from scotland yeh as i seen that car in the auto trader??

?800 is a lorra money for that.
Looks to me like there could be rust problems underneath (chassis legs), by the look of them arches.
you could attempt it yourself, but be ready for an amateur finish (unless u've got the proper equipment, paint, knowledge etc)..
i like the way he asks about cracks round his vents, then ses heres some pics!!! i was expecting pics of the cracks so we could get a better idea of how bad it is so we could give him the best advice

cheers ill put that idia over to him and let him know ill let you know how things turn out and get clearer pictures of the vents so you can see clearly what i mean
its not that big its just like wear the joint is on the vent its like its cracked is there some sort of bond thats supposed to go on when your are preparing the joints for a spray or is it just a bad paint job which needs rubbed down and resprayed ill get some clearer images of it tomorow so you can see it alot better.
tbh mate I'd get him to sand down, derust and then respray the whole car.
Cracks have a habit of spreading - so you need to take the crack as far as you can then fill it, smooth and respray. The main reason for cracks is no reinforcement behind to strengthen the part thats been added - or its not been attached properly or is too wobbly.
Either that or its too heavy (ie the spoiler) for the attachments.
Take it to a decent body shop, Get them to patch up the underside where the holes are sort the arches and give it a full respray.
If you do just the cracked bits and "bodge" over them they'll be back in 6 months time and if you just treat them and no other bits the cars paint wont match.
