Heated rear screen problem

having problems with the heated rear screen anyone ever had this problem before.

Try removing the wires from tyhe rear window, get a multimeter, test the resistance between the wires on drivers side and the chassis, this should be 0 (or there abouts), then switch ignition on and switch on the rear heated window, check the voltage between the wire on paggenger side and chassis, this should be 12v (ish), if this voltage is not present then you have a switch/fuse/wiring problem, if the voltage is there then test the resistance between the two contacts on the window, if this reads OL or no number then the wire in the window has broken down.
