this is very true epo.
they are indeed the future.
and also, a taste sensation!
i know whats right an whats not tho and its just not right
then you surely know whats wrong if something isnt right :?:
if you approach the limit fast then you might go through the soft cut (if there is one) fast and straght to the hard cutoff limit which dosent sound nice.
its part of the ECU software so i doubt its "faulty" unless you have other faults in the system. get the codes out.
Get a shift light.
Why are you hitting the limiter anyway?

i thought it might be that tuned it up today on the co machine an noticed it had a very very slight mis now an then but didnt think it was enough for it to do that apart from that it runs spot on and doesnt mis at all when reving it the only thing it could be is plugs, leads, dizzy or duff coil ill try some new plugs havent changed them in a while
did you get a load on it?
air leaks etc
the limiter WONT be faulty unless other factors are in.
blocked injector, manifold leaks etc
see if you have any ecu fault codes!
ffs i wouldnt bring a car to you if you cant fault find effectively
www.topbuzz.co.uk
has a guide to the ECU fault codes etc
